Top Dance Games on Android in Africa: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the dance games category on the Android platform in Africa showcased diverse performance trends across the top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

Just Dance Now demonstrated fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 1.5K at the end of July before settling to nearly 488 by the end of September. Revenue varied throughout the quarter, with a notable increase to $42 in mid-August and concluding at $37. The app's active users saw a decline from an initial 2K to 1.3K over the quarter.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop experienced a modest growth in revenue starting from $0 in July to a peak of $14 in mid-August, before a gradual decrease. Downloads had a steady start, reaching a high of 239 in late July, then tapering off significantly to just 7 by the end of September. Active users began at 1.2K and saw a descent to 516.

Acrobat Star Show - Girl Power maintained a relatively stable download rate initially, with a decline from 197 in early July to 46 by the end of September. Revenue was minimal, with a brief increase to $10 in late July. Active users slightly decreased from 2.4K to 1.7K over the quarter.

Ice Skating Ballerina Life observed a consistent download pattern, starting at 314 and decreasing to 126. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, reaching a high of $4 in late August. Active users gradually declined from 1.6K to 922 throughout the quarter.

Finally, Hannah's Cheerleader Girls reported a declining trend in downloads, starting at 320 and dropping to 80. Revenue was negligible, while active users decreased from 692 to 491 by the quarter's end.
